When a rider is on a motor cycle, accidents sometime take place that either seriously injured or kill a rider in motorcycle accidents in the United States. These accidents take place due to various reasons some of which are mentioned below:
1) a rider having very little riding expereince while riding a motorcycle and does not have motorcycle rider training or a valid motorcycle license endorsement.
2)
riding to aggressively for the road conditions.
3) a motorist runs a red traffic light or a stop sign at an intersection on a minor road and collides with a motorcyclist in a right angle collision.
4)
the motorcyclist is struck from the rear by a motorist who does not notice the motorcyclist or other vehicles that are stopped or moving slower while in front of them and propels the motorcyclist out into the intersection and into the path of an on-coming vehicle.
5) the motorcyclist is struck from the rear by a motorist following to close during a sudden stop.
6) the motorcyclist is struck from the side by a motorist merging over to the adjacent lane
not seeing the motorcyclist.
7) the motorcyclist is struck from the side by a running deer or collides with a deer running across a roadway.
8)
equipment malfunctions such as a deflating tire, loss of brakes or an engine, transmission or throttle malfunction, excessive or deficient trail in the front end.

Gary has been an avid motorcyclist since 1969. He has obtained advanced motorcycle rider's training through the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF). Gary is a member of the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) and the Harley Owners Group (HOG).


The above motorcycles are owned and operated by Gary. The one on the left is his 2006 Harley Davidson V-ROD. It was designed for speed and more agile handling on curvey roads. The one on the right is his favorite the 2007 American Ironhorse Texas Chopper. It was designed for quick acceleration and a custom appearance.
